Vocational Assessment

Skill development is one of the essential ingredients for India's future economic growth, as the country transforms into a diversified and internationally-competitive economy. Large sections of the educated workforce have little or no job skills, making them largely unemployable. Hence, Global Success Foundation has taken up the initiative of focusing on scaling up the skill training efforts to meet the demand of employers and drive the economic growth.

The vocational trainings provided are ‘need-based,’ focusing on making the students employable, alongside providing them with placements. To ensure a 100% outcome of the training provided, we have developed the Vocational Assessment Tool which enables us to first evaluate the trainee’s inclination towards a skill or his/her interest area, based on which appropriate Skill Training will be imparted to them.

Interests have been found to be related to a number of response variables, such as aptitudes, educational achievement, general mental ability, personality characteristics, job success, occupation engaged in, satisfaction and vocational choice.

Classification of Interests:

• Interests in objects and things
• Interest in ideas
• Interest in people
• Interest in aesthetics

Vocational Assessment Tool Provides Scores On 8 Parameters Which Are:

• Business Factor (B)
• Clerical factor (Ci)
• Agriculture factor (Ag)
• Mechanical factor (Me)
• Scientific factor (Sc)
• Outdoor duty (Od)
• Aesthetic factor (As)
• Social Factor (So)
